We are pleased to invite you to the Workshop on Erasmus+ Knowledge Alliances to be held on 18 October 2017 at University of Split as a satellite event of the Thematic University Business Forum Vis, Croatia. The workshop is jointly organized by Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA), Agency for Mobility and EU Programmes and University of Split.
Erasmus+ Knowledge Alliances are a direct result of the University Business Cooperation, providing EU funding for transnational projects between academia and enterprises. They support the following areas: boosting innovation in higher education and business, development of entrepreneurial mind-set and skills, stimulating the flow and exchange of knowledge between higher education and business. KA projects are open to all academic fields.
Workshop methodology
The main objective of the workshop is to give the participants a better understanding of the key features of a strong Knowledge Alliances project proposal. Following a short introduction on the action and its award criteria, the case study exercise will help participants identify strengths and weaknesses of an application via analysis of extract from real KA applications. The training will be delivered by EACEA staff (Unit A2) with the assistance of a project coordinator of one of the ongoing KA project.
Participant profile
The participation will be opened to Thematic UB- Forum Croatia participants as well as other interested individuals. However, priority will be given to serious applicants and participants with prior academia-business cooperation background (e.g. technology transfer officers, student career officers, EU project managers from enterprises or academia). As this workshop will be carried out entirely in English, participants are expected to have a good command of the English language. Also due to the training format, the number of participants is limited.
